Roles and responsibilities as a volunteer

You will work closely with a few members of our team to:

  • Define and build our LinkedIn presence

  • Create a blueprint for LinkedIn strategy, with the primary objective of building our B2B marketing capacity online, enabling Skillseed to build networks with aligned educators and corporate clients

  • Transfer the skills pertaining to the usage and manipulation of Linkedin tools and the maintenance of the LinkedIn strategic plan we'll co-create together

  • Be a part of the Skillseed family; come visit our extremely affectionate but well-behaved Pembroke Welsh Corgi (let us know if you would rather not be around dogs), in a quaint office located in the character-filled district of Jalan Besar, a stone’s throw from an abundance of cheap good food and not so cheap cafés. Please note that we are not wheelchair accessible and Jalan Besar in general is extremely hostile to wheelchairs!


  • Commitment level: Medium

  • Able to start ASAP!

  • Remote working (80%) 

  • In person training (20%); Skype sessions are possible but we'll love to spend time with you! 

  • Minimum volunteering period of 1-3 months 





Do I fit the bill?

You are: 

  • Familiar with the whys and hows of LinkedIn marketing for B2B purposes

  • A strategic and creative thinker with a good mind for marketing

  • Extremely patient, and happy to explain things to our team

  • Passionate about sharing your knowledge to build the capacity of social enterprises like ours

  • A decently pleasant person to spend time with :-)

  • Not sexist, racist, or bigoted in other ways
