Empathy Mapping
For Innovation & Strategy
Equip teams with the skills to uncover deeper stakeholder insights and drive more human-centred decisions through the methodology of Empathy Mapping. Generating an empathy map helps us better understand our intended end user(s), including their fears and hopes.
The intent of exposing participants to this empathy mapping tool is to equip them with the ability to understand their intended stakeholders (i.e. persons of interest/end users) on a deeper level, and help them identify and test any inherent assumptions they might have about their intended audience.
We will take participants through the practice of Empathy Mapping in projection, observational and retrospective modes

Community Canvas
For Team Culture & Identity
Empower teams to co-create strong, purpose-driven communities through shared ownership and clear foundations.
A community canvas serves as a platform for stakeholders to co-create the essential elements that will influence the community experience (community identity, community vision, purpose, interaction norms and more). The act of co-creation shares power and builds agency, thus acting as an example for how participants could approach the communities they seek to serve or be a part of.
The Community Canvas rests upon the other social innovation modules and lays a firm foundation for starting engaged and bonded communities of any scale. Participants will engage in a hands-on activity to co-create a Canvas for a new / existing community.

At HR's final quarterly cohesion, we did a few things we do not normally do in the course of a work day. We imagined ourselves and each other as birds (Hello peacocks!), thought about whether we were as 'meh as porridge' or feeling as 'spicy as chilli crab', and learnt how our natural tendencies affected the way we work.
Thanks to our friends from Skillseed, we also learnt about the gifts we all have as individuals as well as a team, and how we can share them to make work, and life, better.
Thank you again for spreading joy to us too. I’ve had some colleagues tell me how it made them reflect on their gifts and more. I think that makes the session worthwhile.

“It was really heartwarming to witness Janet’s positivity and appreciation for the little things despite her challenges, such as pavements or shelters being made to improve utility for persons with disabilities and her point that people have a tendency to complain about what’s not enough, but there’s really a lot that’s been done and continues to be done to improve the community by government and volunteer organisations.
