RT Guide Profile
Mohamed Mansoor
📍 Trail Location: Yishun
Volunteer with Willing Hearts, running daily food distribution for the needy families in his community.
Community mobiliser who rallied local businesses to support food distributions
“One day at a time.”
Mansoor has been a resident of Chong Pang for more than four decades, having relocated from a kampung in the vicinity. He has seen how the community has transformed over the last four decades, with many different community initiatives rolled out by various residents and organisations. One recent initiative that Mansoor is a part of is the food distribution programme for residents, which was started during the Covid-19 period with support from Willing Hearts, a soup kitchen charity organisation. Mansoor credits his late dad as a strong influence in his life, as he showed him what it means to care for the community and support others when they need it the most. This has left an impact on Mansoor and continues to guide him as he works to strengthen the communal ties amongst his fellow neighbours.
